3 BIBLE VERSES ON WALKING WITH GOD

Psalm 86:11
"Teach me your way, O Lord and I will walk in your truth. Unite my heart to fear your name."
With the many distractions that are all around us, it can become easy to lose our focus and allow our hearts to become divided by the different cares and fears of this world.
When this happens, our hearts will no longer be in a place of peace.
As we walk in His truth, He unites our hearts and leads us to a place of peace. He brings every place of our hearts into unity, where our sole focus is Him and the glory of His name.
Romans 10:17
"So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of God."
Faith can be a struggle at times. Sometimes I find myself formulating reasons in my head why my faith isn't strong enough. I will try to build up my faith in my own strength or my own will-power.
This happens when we are listening to the wrong voice.
Our faith will grow, strengthen and come alive when we start to tune out every other worldly voice and allow our hearts to be softened so we can hear His voice.
We need to hear from Him and be led by Him... and the best place to start is in His word!
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
"Rejoice evermore, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus."
This scripture has been such a good reminder for me in this season. As emotionally driven people, we have a tendency to make decisions based around our comfort or convenience.
I know for myself, there were many times where I would only pray, read my bible, or take my faith seriously when I needed something from God or wanted Him to do something for me.
God desires for us to be deeply rooted in Him and to constantly live a lifestyle of worship and prayer. May it always be our first response in every situation.
