The Shift

Transparent moment here... 

I've been pretty convicted lately.

Recently, the Lord has been showing me how easily I can become distracted in His presence.

Whether I'm spending time in worship, prayer or the Word, or I'm just trying to focus on Him throughout everyday life, it is surprising how easily and also how often distractions can come up. 

This verse has been such a great encouragement, but also a challenge to me in this season.

Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth.

Colossians 3:2

We need to shift our focus and attention to the things of the Kingdom, and away from the cares and worries of this world. 

As simple as this might sound, it has had (and is having) a profound impact on my life.

I pray this will encourage you in the same way it has encouraged me.
