Called And Chosen

I often think about the calling of God on my life.  

To be completely honest, this is something I have wrestled with more times than I can count.

A question I often ask God is "Why would you pick me?"

I'm often convinced that there are so many other people who would be more qualified or better equipped for the task than myself.

But I know that He has called and chosen me.

This verse comes to mind:

Therefore, brothers and sisters, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choice of you; for as long as you practice these things, you will never stumble

2 Peter 1:10

You have a purpose in the Kingdom. But more than that, you have a responsibility to steward the calling He has placed on you.

My pastor always says ''There are no spare parts in the Kingdom of God!"

I believe every one of us plays a crucial role in what God is wanting to do in the earth. 

My prayer for you is that you would make every effort to be sure of the calling He has placed on your life.

Walk in it. Be fearless. And never give up.
